120 Syrian police ‘killed in clashes’ in an ambush in Jisr al-ShughourAccording to state media, about 120 members of the Syrian security forces have been killed in an ambush by “armed gangs” in the north-western town of Jissr al-Shughour.
Representative reports said that 20 police have been killed in an ambush arranged by “armed gangs”. But at the latter time the officials have confirmed that dozens more had been murdered in other unexpected happening, including 82 in an attack on their headquarters.

‘An actual butchery’
The human rights activists said that at least 35 people, including police, had been killed in Jisr al-Shughour near to the Turkish border, before one day , the state media reports came.
Interior Minister, Ibrahim Shaar, of Syria said that the government should respond strongly and decisively to Monday’s reported attacks.
Hundreds armed shooters had taken in control over parts of Jisr al-Shughour, about 21km from the Turkish border, attacking government apartments and setting them on fire said State TV.
They used light weapons, explosives and grenades ambushed police and killed 20 officers as they approached the town early on Monday.
Other 37 officials were killed on the town’s security centre and eight in a bomb attack on a post office, while the bloodiest drama was being staged the gunmen took over the security services’ headquarters.
